busy weekend

It has been a busy few days!  But I’m trying to remain true to my word…so I’m blogging!

Rob and I were at the annual OCHEC Convention all day Friday and Saturday.  It was very informative and inspiring, as usual.  I’m so glad that we feel called to homeschool, and I’m very excited to “officially” begin with Judah in the fall.  (I say “officially” because we do some fun “educational” things already because Judah is just so interested in learning.)   I haven’t decided 100% yet, but I think we will be taking a relaxed Charlotte Mason -inspired approach.  This type of homeschooling involves reading a lot of classic literature and spending hours and hours exploring outdoors.  I’m looking forward to it!

Asher and Nathan are both still not feeling 100%, so today has been a lazy day.  I’m not really complaining about it – we’ve been having extra cuddling and napping time!  Rob and I are pretty tired from all the information we’ve been taking in over the past two days, so it’s been nice to unwind a little bit.  As of this afternoon, Asher is finally starting to eat a little bit and Nathan’s cough sounds like it’s starting to clear up.  It will probably still be a few days until we’re totally in the clear, though.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!

  1. Sorry to hear the kids are sick. It really is no fun:( Glad you got some time away with the two of you, though. Sounds like it was a great conference!
