…because it’s late!  Why do I always post so late in the evening?!

We are doing well.  I had a bit of a rough week following my surgery (contractions and cramping), but now I am feeling 100% again!  I have an ultrasound again this Friday and will meet with my OB on Monday.  I am being monitored even more closely than before, which is a good thing.  I am also scheduled for Celestone shots, steroids which help the baby’s lungs develop, on Monday and Tuesday of next week.  I am sure that having these shots two weeks before Asher was born made a difference in his breathing abilities at birth and how well he did in the NICU.

Here is the promised ultrasound pic (which is nearly 3 weeks old already!):

I took these pics of my belly last week, at 22 weeks.  I have grown a fair bit since then, though, so they are outdated already!  I can’t believe how much I’ve “popped” already!

Life in general is good.  It’s pretty crazy over here lately, though.  These boys of mine have energy like you wouldn’t believe.  And they’ve recently become very good at fighting with each other.  Makes for a noisy house.  (Isn’t that right, Amanda G?!)

  1. Kare – you take amazing photos – I love the pics of the boys – you capture them so well :). P.s. The belly is looking super cute – but you’re right – it’s gotten even bigger since then! Take care of that little one! Love ya!

  2. Great pictures, once again! Your camping ones were so fun to go through. You are truly gifted with your photography talents.

Glad you are feeling so much better. And YAY for being 24 weeks now! (according to the ticker in your sidebar).

Asher looks like he’s getting more steady on his feet.

And, as if you are on baby #3 with no stretch marks!!!! There is a reason why I am wearing a shirt in all of my belly shots during pregnancy. Life isn’t fair sometimes… LOL:) You look great, Karen!

  3. Hi!

I stumbled across your blog (oddly enough I recognize you from Redeemer).

Praying for your little one on the way 🙂
